My story is coming from the point of veiw of the puppy being brought home at Christmas time and not knowing what is happening to him. It's mad in the house and all the tinsel and decorartions hangiing around, it must seem like an alien world to him. I often wondered what must be going through his mind. I wonder if it's a big let down when it's all over and you get back to normal life in the new year ?

Lots of bells chiming like in that old Christmas movie It's a Wonderful Life, who could forget Jimmy Stewart's performance. I think he really is an angel.

I love dogs there are my favourite animal. I also had a rescue dog, she came to me through a local rescue center. I had her for 12 years and i've never felt such unconditional love. Like she knew that we saved each other. R.I.P. Sooty.

I've got a short story idea for this story, it's a big passion of mine. Love to write from a different angle.

I am trying to get Oh Holy night on cd. Should have it later today, fingers crossed. I've listened to the Hawaiin version it's really very good. Thanks for the comment. Great to hear from Hawaii, it's my favourite place in the world, besides Ireland of course.

When I was in Hawaii they were still trying to get the bay cleaned out because of the polution that was caused over the years, plus the amount of visitors that go to see it each year. As far as I know it is now a nature reserve. Marine life rocks.

I think the point of the movie is to take whatever you want from it. I don't think that there is only one side to the story. You can take what you want from it. Did Donnie die under the plane engine? Who know's but it was fun watching.

I went to Hawaii last year and it's the best time that I ever had. Thinking of moving there when I finish my degree. I'm also learning to surf and it's the maddest thing to do because I have no balance to start with, this is the main thing that you need when you are surfing. Will get there in the end hopefully(Hawaii and Surfing).

Also did anyone else identify with donnie ? Maybe it's just me I'm big on anti hero's. Or do we have a Frank fan ? either one is better than anyone else in the movie. Did anyone else notice the reference to E.T. it's my favorite movie of all time.

Just watched Donnie Darko.Frankly the only thing I found scary was the sound track, Duran Duran I mean please, that's just mean.
